A Celebration of Automotive Elegance
The Bay Harbor Concours d’Elegance is an international automotive and lifestyle event set along the shores of Northern Michigan’s Little Traverse Bay. Conceived as a multi-day celebration of automotive excellence, the Concours brings together historically significant automobiles, visionary designers, collectors, and industry leaders within a setting defined by natural beauty, refined hospitality, and cultural depth.
Developed in close collaboration with the Automotive Hall of Fame, the Bay Harbor Concours is anchored by a shared mission: to honor the legacy, innovation, and individuals who have shaped the global automotive industry. This partnership provides a level of historical credibility, curatorial integrity, and institutional authenticity that distinguishes Bay Harbor as a serious entrant on the international concours stage. Together, the organizations celebrate design, engineering, and achievement while advancing the educational and preservation goals that define the Hall of Fame’s global mandate.
The Bay Harbor Concours is part of a broader, year-round automotive platform that also includes The Ice Run – Walloon, a winter automotive experience inspired by Europe’s most iconic alpine motoring gatherings. Set on the frozen expanse of Walloon Lake, The Ice Run offers a dramatic seasonal counterpoint—where heritage automobiles, modern performance machines, and curated hospitality converge on ice. Together, the Concours and The Ice Run form a cohesive celebration of the automobile across seasons, landscapes, and driving environments.
Guided by the principles of preservation, education, and cultural impact, the Bay Harbor Concours d’Elegance supports philanthropic initiatives benefiting the Automotive Hall of Fame and select regional and national organizations. Each experience is intentionally designed to deliver authenticity, elegance, and purpose—positioning Bay Harbor not simply as an event, but as a lasting automotive institution rooted in history and driven toward the future.
